What do I do immediately after an accident?

Being involved in an accident can be distressing and often leave us in a state of confusion. The QLD Police have provided a PDF flyer to assist the decision making process.

What payment methods do you accept

We accept cash, EFTPOS, Visa, MasterCard, Afterpay and ZIP PAY but unfortunately do not accept personnel cheques without prior approval or Amex or diners cards.

What kind of warranty do I get with my repairs and paintwork?

We are so confident in our repairs that we offer a lifetime guarantee (or for as long as you own the vehicle) on all our workmanship. There are also separate warranties on parts and paintwork offered by the suppliers.

Will I be required to pay an insurance excess if it is not my fault when should this be paid and to who?

If you are not at fault in an accident and you provide your insurance company with all the at fault party details most insurance companies will waive any excess. If there is a dispute some companies will require you to pay the excess until a decision can be reached as to who is at fault. This can then be reimbursed by your insurance company if you are found to be in the clear. If you have had an accident and are unable to obtain the third party details you will have to pay an excess. Any excess is either paid directly to the insurer or to the repairer on completion of repairs.

Do I need to make an appointment for a quote?

No need to book just come in anytime between 7am-4.30pm Monday to Friday and by appointment on the weekends we understand it can be sometimes difficult to get the time to come into the workshop and can come to your home or office if required. Simply give us a call to schedule a time.

Can you do quotes from images?

This is a difficult one. Although we can generally give an indication of what is required from images. In most cases we need to view the car to be able to give an accurate quote.

Do you provide courtesy vehicles?

Yes we do. We have 6 late model small automatic vehicles. These vehicles are subject to availability and can be booked quite in advance. You will be required to sign a vehicle loan agreement on loan of the vehicle. If you are not at fault in an accident and the at fault party is insured we can organise you a replacement like for like car.

How long will repairs take?

There a lot of factors to consider when estimating the completion date of repairs. Generally for smaller repairs we can give you an accurate timeline when you book your vehicle in. However with larger accident work there are more factors out of our control like parts availability and if any subcontract work is required. Once your vehicle has been fully dismantled often additional damage and or parts are required. We will keep you fully informed on any updates as parts arrive and when repairs start you can also call into the workshop at any time to check on progress.

Is my vehicle secure while stored at your premises?

Yes we have 24 hour monitored CCTV and a secure fenced yard with undercover parking at the front entrance. We have full public liability insurance.

Do I need more than one quote?

No. Unless your policy stipulates otherwise you only need the one quote. At times when you have been hit by another party and they don't wish to claim through insurance they will request multiple quotes. Two is usually enough in this instance.

Do I need to contact the insurer or is this something you can do?

We will assist you as much as we can but as the insurance claims department will require as much information as possible it is necessary for you to lodge your own claim. Once you have your claim number we can then handle the rest of the claim process for you.
